What a year it has been, My mom got married, and it was a beautiful day!! We sold our condo and moved into a 4 bedroom house in December of 2012. Man oh man what an experience that was!!! We are settling in quite nicely. :)

Ashton started school in September and it was a rough start. He was showing some really aggressive behaviour like kicking and hitting so it was a major surprise to us, cause he isn't usually like that. He eventually settled down and is enjoying school a lot. :0 I think we have his pooping issue under control finally. He started peeing on the potty just after we got back from vacation in july. :) so what a relief that was. He still wouldn't go number 2!!! we would get constant phone calls home to come and change him!!! man oh man!!! But ever since spring break he has been doing wonders!! I'm so proud of the lil man he is becoming. He surprises me ever day!!

We were really happy back in December as we found out we were expecting baby number 2. March 7,2013 we had an ultrasound and I got a call from my doctor to come in. We were told that I had miscarried. So that was devastating. I felt so lost and sad and broken. I had so many emotions i didn't know what to think or feel. :( That same day however I became an Aunty for the first time to a beautiful baby boy named Max. he is adorable!!! I can't wait to see him when we fly back to BC in July.

geez I really suck at updating this thing!!

Well Ashton made it to 3 years old and we have had quite the year. A week before his 3rd birthday we ended up in the hospital because his breathing was out of whack, he had swimming lessons the night before and he went under the water,and he came up and of course coughed and what not and we thought he was fine.
We woke up the next morning and he wasn't any better so off to the walk in clinic we went,he got a nebulizer treatment and was told to watch his stomach and chest for an hour. It hadn't gotten any better so off to the emerg we went.

It was a rather scary experience! But needless to say we ended up with puffers and an aero chamber. Then in February of this year we found out what we already knew. Ashton was allergic to peanuts and peanut butter! :( So we got an epi pen and I hope to god I never have to use it on him!!

We also registered Ashton for junior kindergarten!! I can't believe that he is going to be going to school in September! I know there will be a lot of tears that day, probably more from me then from Ashton!

We are also getting ready to list our condo and move out of this tiny apt! I'm so excited to be moving into a much bigger house with a backyard that Ashton can play in! :)
We are also heading to beautiful BC in about 3 weeks for my moms upcoming nuptials to my soon to be stepdad. I couldn't be happier for them. I am a bridesmaid,Jay is a groomsmen and Ashton is the ringbearer.

It's been two years since I've been back and I can't wait to see my family and my friends.

Ashton has started going on the potty more which makes me really happy for him and for me, but it isn't consistant!! But i know he will get there. Everyone ends up potty trained at some point.

Ashton has finished swimming lessons for the summer and I must say, going into it I was a little nervous, but I had no reason to be. He loves the water and will now actually stand near a shower!!! I think we will enroll him again in September.

Now to find something to do on my day off with him.. I see many trips to the park and water parks in the near future.

I am finding it so hard to keep up with the housecleaning!! I get one room done and then a day later it's total chaos again!! There is just no end in sight!!

We have also started potty training... We bought him a potty just after Christmas and he didn't want anything to do with it.. But since last week he has been sitting on it which is totally awesome. He hasn't gone in it yet but we are getting there. I'm hoping that by Thanksgiving he will be potty trained.

Last week we had my brother's band come and stay with us for a few days and as much as I miss my brother I am really happy to have my house back. Although I had no clue so many men could leave so much hair behind! I swear they are worse then a bunch of women!!!! I'm still cleaning hair in my bathroom!!

that's about all I can think of to say at the moment.. Oh yes I turned 30 on June 1 and had family over for dinner and cake and ice-cream. It wasn't quite what I was expecting but it was nice and relaxing. The best present I got was from Jay and Ashton. I got a new camera. A nikon 3100. I can't wait to go on a photo adventure with my friend Karen...

It's been awhile..

Yikes, it's been awhile since I've updated!!

Well Ashton is 2 and a half now and talking like crazy and he is so full of energy!! I just love watching him grow and watching his personality unfold!!

We bought a new couch last week and it arrived today!! :D That's about all I can think of for now.

Wow, it's been a while since I've updated this thing!! Well Ashton's 2nd birthday came and went!! He got spoiled as always!!! His words have just exploded!! My mom came out for two weeks. It was awesome having her here. I was a little sad when she left tho. I miss my mom.

It's good to know that if I have a question, all I have to do is pick up the phone or message her on Skype.

Christmas has come and gone and now we are staring 2011 in the face!! Anyways, I hope everyone has a great New Year's and if your going to drink please do it responsibly.

Ashton is 19 months

Well, not much longer and my baby will be 2!! That's a little scary.. Anyways, Ashton has changed so much over the last few months it's crazy.

He can say a few words now. His latest ones are up,no,gogogo,ama (Grandma),pappa, and his latest is juice. (Or at least that's what we think he is saying.

He is a bundle of energy!! He is like the energizer bunny. He goes non-stop until naptime and then when he gets up, it's non-stop till bedtime. It's exhausting... But soo rewarding.

If you ask him to give you a kiss, he will or he will give you his forehead and he also gives five too.

He is getting soo tall too. He is almost half my height. I think Jay said he was almost 3 feet tall...

Well he should be waking up from his nap shortly and it's time to start dinner.

Ashton is 15 months.

Well Ashton is walking and discovering new things everyday!! It's so cute. He can now say Thank you (not well mind you) but at least that's what we think he is saying.

He has figured out how to climb over our ottoman that we were using to block him in the living room. He absolutely loves to play with his bedroom door!! He is fascinated by it. Who knew such little things like a door would keep a one year old happy and content!!

He also has molars!!

Aside from that, not much else is new.

I can't believe that I've been back to work for almost 4 months already!! man the time goes by so quickly.
