Well Ashton is walking and discovering new things everyday!! It's so cute. He can now say Thank you (not well mind you) but at least that's what we think he is saying.
He has figured out how to climb over our ottoman that we were using to block him in the living room. He absolutely loves to play with his bedroom door!! He is fascinated by it. Who knew such little things like a door would keep a one year old happy and content!!
He also has molars!!
Aside from that, not much else is new.
I can't believe that I've been back to work for almost 4 months already!! man the time goes by so quickly.

Ashton is 14 months
Ashton never ceases to amaze me. He can now say ball and point to where a ball is on his wall.
He tried a new food tonight at dinner. He tried Zucchini for the first time. He loved it!! He is not on baby food anymore. He doesn't drink from a bottle anymore either. It has been that way since he was 12 months old. He is growing up way too quickly!! :(

my baby is almost a toddler
Ashton has amazed me this last week. He is growing up so quickly and it makes me a little sad. But anyways, within the last week or so he has picked up a couple of words. He can now say cookie,weeeee, and yay. It's so fricken cute!!
He is standing longer and taking more and more steps everyday. That is about it for now. I have to get stuff ready for Ashton in the morning.

Happy New Year
Well 2009 has come to a close and 2010 has started. The New Year started off great. Ashton woke up wednesday night coughing and crying and had a runny nose. Jay and I were up till 3:30 in the morning with him on New Years Day. Not fun!! I am really not liking this teething business!! He is currently working on another top tooth so he has 4 in total now!!
We celebrated with my hubby's best friend Bill and his wife Jess who are expecting their first child in April. I can't wait. I'm so excited. They are having a girl!! :D Jay's sister Lee Anna also came over and spent the night and cooked breakfast the next morning. It was really yummy. We had french toast and sausages. Jay's mom and dad came over for breakfast too.
He is a little trash compacter. He eats everything in site. He wants what we eat. That's about it for me at the moment.

1 year gone
wow, it's been a while since I've updated this thing!!
Well, it's been an interesting year. I can't believe that my little boy is 1!! It went by so quickly!! Ashton has 3 teeth now, 2 on the bottom and one coming through the top. He has such a little personality.
Christmas is almost here and it's kinda sad but I can't wait for it to be over!! Well I'm off to go make some butter tarts. :D and wait till Jay leaves to finish wrapping his stuff.

another great night of sleep
Had a great again last night!! Ashton was in bed by 8:30 and woke up at 7am this morning!! He is constantly changing before my eyes!! He finally figured out that the elephant that is attached to his jumperoo turns!! It was awesome to see him figure it out.
Jay and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary on July 15. It was great just to be alone with him. We went and saw two movies. They were both really great. We also went to dinner. I think Jay and I should go to the movies once a month. :) We both needed that time together. I didn't realize how much I missed it just being the two of us. But I wouldn't trade my son for anything. He is my world.
That's about it for now I guess. Ashton and I are getting ready to go back to Vancouver on Thursday for two whole weeks. It's going to be awesome. Jay can't be with us because he has to work and play baseball. We will miss him dearly but it will be good to get away.
