another great night of sleep

Had a great again last night!! Ashton was in bed by 8:30 and woke up at 7am this morning!! He is constantly changing before my eyes!! He finally figured out that the elephant that is attached to his jumperoo turns!! It was awesome to see him figure it out.

Jay and I celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary on July 15. It was great just to be alone with him. We went and saw two movies. They were both really great. We also went to dinner. I think Jay and I should go to the movies once a month. :) We both needed that time together. I didn't realize how much I missed it just being the two of us. But I wouldn't trade my son for anything. He is my world.

That's about it for now I guess. Ashton and I are getting ready to go back to Vancouver on Thursday for two whole weeks. It's going to be awesome. Jay can't be with us because he has to work and play baseball. We will miss him dearly but it will be good to get away.

A good night sleep for once

Last night was a good night. Gave Ashton a bath and he was in bed by 9pm. :) He slept all night long, he didn't wake up coughing or crying. He woke up at 7:50 this morning!! whoo hoo!! I finally got a good night sleep aside from the hubby snoring like crazy. Sorry babe but man oh man!!

I have changed Ashton 3 times so far today. He managed to upchuck most of his morning bottle all over me and himself and the chair we were sitting in and the floor!! Then I changed him into a cute outfit and he managed to poop all over it. So far he has done well in outfit number 3. No big catastrophies yet!! *knock on wood*

I managed to get Ashtons clothes put away finally!! That was a big chore and a half. Now if only I could get my room straightened out and my clothes put away I would feel awesome. I hate rifling through baskets to look for clothes to wear. I can only do it for so long.

Well I'm off to go feed the little one. I'll write more later

not sleeping and teething

It has definitely been an adventure so far. Ashton is a little firecracker and he is just rearing to go. He loves watching what is going on around him. It is so neat to watch him figure out how something works.

I can't believe that he is 7 months already!! Where has the time gone? It doesn't feel like I gave birth to him 7 months ago. It seems like only yesterday I arrived home with my little bundle of joy.He is not so little anymore. Last I checked he was 28 inches and 17 pounds 8 ounces!! He can fit into some 12 month clothes!!

He is teething right now and has been since he was 3 months old!! We have our good nights and our bad nights, Last night was a pretty bad night as he woke up at 1:30, coughing and crying and his nose was running. I feel so bad for him when that happens. Then he woke up again around 5 and then 5:30 and then 6 and then 6:30 and then 7 and then 8 and he finally woke up around 9:30. I was so ready to pull my hair out!! I would just get comfortable and fall back asleep and he would start crying. It breaks my heart to hear him cry!!

He is napping at the moment so we will see how long he sleeps for!! Anyways, I'm off as I have some stuff to do around here that has been put off for far too long.
