Ashton has finished swimming lessons for the summer and I must say, going into it I was a little nervous, but I had no reason to be. He loves the water and will now actually stand near a shower!!! I think we will enroll him again in September.

Now to find something to do on my day off with him.. I see many trips to the park and water parks in the near future.

I am finding it so hard to keep up with the housecleaning!! I get one room done and then a day later it's total chaos again!! There is just no end in sight!!

We have also started potty training... We bought him a potty just after Christmas and he didn't want anything to do with it.. But since last week he has been sitting on it which is totally awesome. He hasn't gone in it yet but we are getting there. I'm hoping that by Thanksgiving he will be potty trained.

Last week we had my brother's band come and stay with us for a few days and as much as I miss my brother I am really happy to have my house back. Although I had no clue so many men could leave so much hair behind! I swear they are worse then a bunch of women!!!! I'm still cleaning hair in my bathroom!!

that's about all I can think of to say at the moment.. Oh yes I turned 30 on June 1 and had family over for dinner and cake and ice-cream. It wasn't quite what I was expecting but it was nice and relaxing. The best present I got was from Jay and Ashton. I got a new camera. A nikon 3100. I can't wait to go on a photo adventure with my friend Karen...

It's been awhile..

Yikes, it's been awhile since I've updated!!

Well Ashton is 2 and a half now and talking like crazy and he is so full of energy!! I just love watching him grow and watching his personality unfold!!

We bought a new couch last week and it arrived today!! :D That's about all I can think of for now.

Wow, it's been a while since I've updated this thing!! Well Ashton's 2nd birthday came and went!! He got spoiled as always!!! His words have just exploded!! My mom came out for two weeks. It was awesome having her here. I was a little sad when she left tho. I miss my mom.

It's good to know that if I have a question, all I have to do is pick up the phone or message her on Skype.

Christmas has come and gone and now we are staring 2011 in the face!! Anyways, I hope everyone has a great New Year's and if your going to drink please do it responsibly.

Ashton is 19 months

Well, not much longer and my baby will be 2!! That's a little scary.. Anyways, Ashton has changed so much over the last few months it's crazy.

He can say a few words now. His latest ones are up,no,gogogo,ama (Grandma),pappa, and his latest is juice. (Or at least that's what we think he is saying.

He is a bundle of energy!! He is like the energizer bunny. He goes non-stop until naptime and then when he gets up, it's non-stop till bedtime. It's exhausting... But soo rewarding.

If you ask him to give you a kiss, he will or he will give you his forehead and he also gives five too.

He is getting soo tall too. He is almost half my height. I think Jay said he was almost 3 feet tall...

Well he should be waking up from his nap shortly and it's time to start dinner.

Ashton is 15 months.

Well Ashton is walking and discovering new things everyday!! It's so cute. He can now say Thank you (not well mind you) but at least that's what we think he is saying.

He has figured out how to climb over our ottoman that we were using to block him in the living room. He absolutely loves to play with his bedroom door!! He is fascinated by it. Who knew such little things like a door would keep a one year old happy and content!!

He also has molars!!

Aside from that, not much else is new.

I can't believe that I've been back to work for almost 4 months already!! man the time goes by so quickly.

I have a toddler now!!

Ashton walked yesterday!!! It was so cool to see.

Ashton is 14 months

Ashton never ceases to amaze me. He can now say ball and point to where a ball is on his wall.

He tried a new food tonight at dinner. He tried Zucchini for the first time. He loved it!! He is not on baby food anymore. He doesn't drink from a bottle anymore either. It has been that way since he was 12 months old. He is growing up way too quickly!! :(
